ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Deerfield-Windsor running back Davis Moore made a big return to the Knights lineup from injury.
Dr. Paul Michas presented Davis with the WALB Albany Area Player of the Week award Wednesday.
Moore scored two offensive touchdowns and returned an interception for another score in the Knights playoff win last week.
Moore back after missing the Southland game with an injury.
Davis Moore said. "It was good to be back this week. I was excited and ready to go. I was revved up. Our offensive line did a great job blocking. Got a chance to make a play and I did. It was nice."
Deerfield-Winsdor hosts Mount de Sales Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the GISA AAA semifinals.
