ALBANY, GA (WALB) –An Albany teenager was arrested on drug charges after he fell asleep at the drive-thru window at the Krystal on North Slappey.

19-year old Daries Pollard was charged with possession of marijuana.

Krystal workers called police just after midnight because they couldn't wake Pollard up.

Police also had trouble waking Pollard and then had to help him unlock his car door so he could get out.

Officers smelled marijuana and confiscated what they believe to be a small amount of pot.

Krystal employees say it's actually fairly common for people to fall asleep in their drive-thru late at night, but they usually can wake them up.
