LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - Lee County's Chase Griffin has signed a scholarship to play baseball at Georgia Southern.

Griffin can play infield and outfield.
Griffin was the Trojans MVP and earned all-region honors his junior season with a .444 average and 36 runs batted in.
Lee County coach Rob Williams says Lee County will have a signing ceremony for Chase after the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Georgia Southern has signed 11 players during the fall period including Appling County High School infielder Tyler Avera.
