MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - Even though Colquitt County has made the state playoffs, Packers head coach Rush Propst isn't mincing words when he says a 5-5 regular season record is unacceptable.

With the state playoffs starting Friday, Colquitt County defensive coordinator Jack Hines has left the team.
Athletic director and former football assistant Darius Dawson has returned to coach linebackers.
Propst says for now the team will operate under defensive coordinator by committee.
Over on offense, Propst will take over play calling for the Colquitt County offense.
The coach believe these moves can lead to another run at a state title.
Rush Propst said. "I had a group of 28 seniors out there that I thought deserved better. We wanted to give them better. We made the changes. Made the shake-up and we are moving forward. I hope it is to the best."
Colquitt County opens the state playoffs Friday in Savannah against Jenkins High.
So much that Propst isn't waiting until after the season to make changes.
