The Panthers have signed former Albany State Ram A.J. McKenna.
McKenna was the SIAC player of the year last year and had a tryout with the New Orleans Saints this season.
A.J. McKenna said. "Alot of guys that are on the team now are previous Albany State players so before I made my decision I got a lot of insight from those guys and they were a big help to to help make my decision to play this year."
Head coach Luscious Davis said. "My goal this off season was to make sure I improved in each position and I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt with the signing of him is a big improvement at that position."
Coach Davis says McKenna will have to earn the starting position in training camp.
