VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –A robbery and beating at a Valdosta motel is caught on tape.

63-year old Tom Pool was on duty at the Super 8 Monday night when a man walked in and asked to use a bathroom.

The video shows the man covering his face and as Pool approaches him, the man began hitting him in the face.

The man then grabbed money from the cash drawer and a handful of Wild Adventures ticket and ran out.

Pool is recovering and the search continues for his attacker.
