Moultrie, GA (WALB) –  A Colquitt County girl who encouraged others to stay positive in their battles with cancer has died.

11-year-old Jazmin Moore of Norman Park died Friday.

The community had pitched in to help her family with costly chemotherapy treatments for the aggressive brain tumor in her head and the transportation costs back and forth to Florida.

She was laid to rest in Colquitt County Monday.
