ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Westover Patriots took no prisoners against its cross town rival Monroe at Hugh Mills Stadium on Saturday night, winning 28-18. The Patriots jumped out on the Tornadoes and took a 21-0 lead into half time.
The second half yielded Monroe's first points when Charles Strafford hooked up with Jackie Childs on a go route to pull the Tornadoes with 14.
Monroe could do little to come back and take the lead as the Patriots took command of the game and won 28-18. Westover finished its regular season at 3-8, while Monroe fell to 4-6.
