ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Darton College women's basketball team improved its record to 2-1. DC hosted the Darton College Classic defeating Faulkner State (68-64) on Friday night and falling to No. 16 Shelton State on Saturday afternoon by a score of 45-75.
Christina Brown led the Lady Cavaliers averaging 13.5 points and two steals a game on the weekend. Brown torched the nets in the first game of the classic, racking up 16 points to lead the team.
Darton will look to bounce back on Tuesday, November 9th. The Lady Cavs will face off against Lurleen B. Wallace CC. Game time is set for 5:30pm at the Cavalier Arena.
