TIFTON, GA (WALB) – Saturday the Agrirama in Tifton celebrated the arts and its influence on Georgia's rich history.

The Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College hosted the first ever Georgia Heritage Festival.

The brand new endeavor dedicated to traditional arts. It featured visual artists and traditional arts and crafts.

"That's what the Georgia Museum of Agriculture is all about celebrating out heritage, the things that make up our culture here and the traditional and the traditional art in Georgia is what we're celebrating," said Wayne Jones, ABAC Arts Connection Dir.

Events continue Saturday at 7 p.m. with the first concert of the Georgia Singer-Songwriter Performance Series with featuring musician Diane Durrett and Jimmy Hall.
