VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) – Police say the victim was in the wrong place at the wrong time when he was shot multiple times outside a Papa Johns Pizza store early Friday morning.
Valdosta Police say a fight broke out at Vision Night Club on Bemiss Road around 2AM.
The fight moved to the Papa Johns parking lot down the street where multiple gunshots were fired. A few of the bullets hit a 23-year-old standing nearby.
He was rushed to South Georgia Medical center with gunshot wounds to his chest and arm but police say he's going to be OK.
Police did arrest a 21-year-old with a gun on the scene. He'll be charged with aggravated assault. Police are not releasing names at this time.
