THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Thomas County Central defensive end Ray Drew has joined the Army.

Ray Drew said. "I don't see where I have done anything that great to be invited. I just try to keep a level head and stay humble about it. Do what I can to the best of my ability and give all the glory to God. Because without Him none of this would be possible."
The U.S. Army All-American Bowl is January 8th in San Antonio, Texas.
Actually Drew was presented with his jersey for the U-S Army All-American Bowl at a press conference at Thomas County Central High School Thursday afternoon.
The standout defensive end will join some of the other top high school football players in the nation for this all-star game whose former players include Tim Tebow, Mark Sanchez and Adrian Peterson.
Ray Drew is honored and humbled his selection to this prestigious all-star game.
