ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Now through December 2, the Dougherty County Health Department will make it easy for shoppers at the Albany Mall to get vaccinated against influenza and other vaccine-preventable diseases.

This event will be the first Albany Mall Immunization Drive.

Officials stress that it isn't too late to get a flu shot. Flu shots are $25 and Medicare, Medicaid, cash, checks, United Healthcare (State Health Benefit Plan) and Cigna (State Health Benefit Plan) are accepted.

The following vaccines will also be offered:

œ Tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis (whooping cough) for ages 11 through 64
œ Pneumococcal (pneumonia)
œ Gardasil (HPV or human papillomavirus) for ages 9-26
