ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Albany's new downtown manager wants to turn to the Internet to market downtown.
Right now downtown Albany's website isn't even working.
Aaron Blair asked ADICA Board Members to look over potential website designs.
He also wants to use social networking sites like Facebook to bring positive attention and growth to the area.
"Most people are getting their information from Facebook and Twitter and that's just a reality. If we don't go in that direction, we're just going to keep falling behind other cities and how people successfully market today," said Blair.
Blair also plans to put up more banners around downtown, including the Harlem and Historic Districts.
