ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  You can celebrate part of Albany's history when you celebrate Christmas this year.

Easter Seals unveiled its 2010 ornament Thursday morning at the Chamber of Commerce downtown. It features the Chamber building and commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Chamber.

Easter Seals has partnered with the Chamber for many years, but that's not the only partnership that Easter Seals has formed. The one with the community is even more important.

"They've been real supportive of everything that we do and the phone calls have been coming in for the last two weeks and they want to know when is the ornament going to be available and what is the ornament," Rosalyn Kirk said.

Proceeds from the sale of the ornament go to benefit Easter Seals programs in 39 counties.

The ornaments are $15.00 each. You can get them at the Easter Seals office, the Albany Welcome Center, Royal Collection, and the Carriage Trade.
