ARLINGTON, TX (WALB) -
Posey showed he was during the Giants during their run to the World Series championship.
The Giants pitching staff mowed down a Texas Rangers lineup that was one of the best in baseball in 2010.
Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain and Madison Bumgarner were all spectacular.
Calling all those games behind the plate was a 23 year old who has only been a catcher for four seasons.
Two in college and two in pro ball.
Monday night it was fitting that Buster Posey caught the final out in the Giants first world series championship in 54 years.
Buster Posey said. "I can't describe it. That is why you play the game as a little kid. Hoping to one day be in that situation to get the last out in the world series. It is unreal."
The Giants victory parade is Wednesday in San Francisco.
