ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson was one of seven inductees into the Georgia Southern Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday.
Johnson was member of the 1985 and 86 coaching staff that led the Eagles to he NCAA 1-AA National Championships. He returned as head coach from1997 through 2001 added two more national titles in 1999 and 2000. Also inducted was one the Eagles all-time great at QB, Greg Hill.
Paul Johnson said "You know it's always good to get back to Statesboro and its fun to be here at Folsom Stadium. A lot of great memories here"
Hill led the Eagles at quarterback to their National Title appearance in 1998 and 1999.
