COLUMBUS, GA (WALB) - Berrien High softball team got off to a great start in the AA elite eight in Columbus.
Rebelettes led North Oconee 3-0 but North Oconee rallies in the 6th to win 6-3.
Berrien now plays Dodge County at 9:00 a.m. Friday in an elimination game.
In Class A, Providence Christian shuts out Irwin County 5-0.
Providence's Kylie Kleinschmidt strikes out 13 batters.
Irwin County faces Savannah Christian Friday morning in an elimination game.
Lowndes High dropped their opening game 8-2 to Grayson Thursday evening.
Vikettes play Newnan at 11:00 a.m. in an elimination game Friday.
