ALBANY, GA (WALB) –The Dougherty Grand Jury today indicted four Albany men for the July robbery and shooting of an Albany business owner that led to his death.

Prosecutors say the men plotted the robbery with a former employee.

Jordan Harris, Ezekiel James,  Jamon Carter, and Ryan Richardson were indicted for murder, armed robbery, and aggravated assault.

They're accused in the July 3rd shooting of P and P Hardware Owner Walter Phelps.

He died a month later.

Richardson used to work at the store.

Prosecutors say he helped plan the robbery to avoid the store's surveillance cameras and that Jordan Harris actually shot Phelps.
