ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Darton College Lady Cavs basketball is lacing up its sneakers for another season.

The Cavs will have their work cut out for them returning two players from last year's team, only one starter in point guard D'Arcy Williams. The rest are all freshman, a few from local high schools.

LaKandra Beeks is from Dougherty High and former Brooks County standout Khadija Jones just to name a few. The team lacks size but will make for it with speed.

Auburn Randolph said "We're going to be a very fast team I feel like.  If we come together as a team, we have some pretty good post players. So we have to just come together, we're going to be pretty fast and if we can get it into our post I think we're going to be pretty good."

The Lady Cavs will scrimmage Albany State this Wednesday 7:30 at the Cavalier Arena. Admission is free.
