ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A driver was injured when she crashed into a building Friday night in Albany. A little after 9:00, a Ford Sport Trac ran off Westgate Drive not far from the Dawson Road intersection.

The SUV grazed a utility pole then slammed into an office building at 2405 Westgate. It was wedged between a column and a wall near the front entrance. Rescuers had to free the driver and rush her to the hospital. Police were unable to give us the driver's name, so we are not sure of her condition.
