Spirit Day: Sherwood Christian Academy

Posted: Updated:

Sherwood Christian Academy is hosting Southland in a big region game tonight, and Sherwood Christian senior players got the student body fired up for the big game.

"Welcome to senior pep rally. Here are our senior football players," announced the emcee. The players entered the gym to SCA cheers from the student body and faculty:

"S-C-A Eagles back again, Ready to dominate in 2010. With passion you will see we will show you what we have got. Building a legacy, Eagles on top."

The pep rally featured a contest where seniors tried to eat an Oreo without using their hands.

There was also a contest where you try to get the penny from the stocking hose with just one hand.

But perhaps the best contest required you to rub nose with Vaseline, get cotton ball, and run to the other end and drop it in bowl without using the hands.

The football players also did a good marching band impression. SCA cheerleaders threw footballs and T-shirts to the students.

The cheerleaders and students showed their spirit chanting "S-C-A! Go Eagles!"

The seniors here at Sherwood Christian Academy are ready to lead the Eagles to victory tonight when they host Southland.
