ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The down economy has forced a lot of businesses to close, but others are still opening and creating jobs for people eager to go to work.

Build Your Burger opened Tuesday on North Westover Boulevard. It offers fresh burgers, sandwiches, salad, dessert and a condiments bar.

Riverfront Steak and Seafood opened Thursday evening on Lake Chehaw.

Even though the past couple restaurants haven't made it; Dale Saunders, Owner of Riverfront BBQ, believes his success downtown will carry over to his new location.

"It's been two months in the making," said Saunders. "We're excited to be here, and looking for a big night tonight."

Right now, Riverfront Steak and Seafood is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. Build Your Burger is open for lunch and dinner throughout the week.
