LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - When the season started, most Lee County fans would have settled for a state playoff berth.

The battle begins at 7:30 p.m. at Trojan  Field in Leesburg.

Dean Fabrizio said. "That is what they do well. Running the ball and take advantage of the mistakes you make. We have got to be disciplined on defense. Not only that we have got to tackle them when we get there."

Lee County hosts 10th ranked Thomas County Central Friday night.

The winner of this game will most likely will get second place behind Northside Warner Robins in the region.

That means the second place team will host a first round playoff game.

Lee County head coach Dean Fabrizio is only concerned with stopping Thomas County Central's veer option attack.

That is key number one for a Trojan victory Friday night.

The Trojans are not only closing in on a playoff berth.

They also play for a chance to host a postseason game.
