ALBANY, GA (WALB) –An East Albany woman was awakened by a masked armed robber pointing a gun in her face Thursday morning.

40-year old Bonnie Monroe says about 4:30 AM a man kicked in the side door of her home on Clark Avenue while she was sleeping on her couch. "I woke up to somebody hollering at me, where's the money, where's the money. I didn't hear them kick my door in or anything. And I woke up to a gun in my face", said Monroe.

Monroe says her screams woke up her two daughters.

Thankfully, nobody got hurt. The home invader took a cell phone and some cash and ran away.

Police are investigating but have made no arrests.
