ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany High Indians enter the final three weeks of the season fighting for the final playoff berth in region 1-AAThe Indians needs win over Brooks County Thursday and at Early County next week to clinch a playoff berth.

It would be a huge accomplishment for a team that has three winless seasons in the last four years.

The first step to the playoffs starts against a Brooks County team that has been to the state quarterfinals in the last two years.

Albany High coach Felton Williams believes his team has the talent to make the playoffs.

All they need know is the confidence in their ability.

Felton Williams said. "We are trying to just emphasize winning. This team is capable of winning. I hope we can go into Thursday's game play mistake free and tackle and we will come out with a win this week."

Albany High and Brooks County kickoff at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Hugh Mills Stadium.
