Lady Rams lose 2nd straight SIAC match

The Lady Rams lost 23-25 in the first game, and won the second game 25-21. The Lady Rams lost games three and four, 18-25 and 21-25 to drop their record to 13-8 and 9-4 in SIAC play.

        Junior power hitter Sabrina Garcia led the Lady Rams’ offense with 17 kills and senior hitter Latrice Lewis added 16. Junior setter Jennifer Johnson led the Lady Rams’ defense with 18 digs, and senior setter Priscila Sena added 12 more. Sena also recorded 42 assists and a service ace. 

       The Lady Rams will hit the road for two matches against Claflin University in an SIAC matchup on Oct. 22 in Orangeburg, S.C., and Valdosta State University in a non-conference match on Oct. 25 in Valdosta, Ga. The Lady Rams will return home to play Alabama A&M University on Oct. 28, and Paine College on Oct. 29 at 6 p.m.
