ALBANY, GA (WALB) – U.S. House Minority Leader John Boehner could become Speaker of the House if Republicans win a majority of the House seats on November 2nd. He's coming to Georgia to try to help make that happen.
Boehner will be part of a Veterans for Victory Rally for Austin Scott Tuesday afternoon in Centerville. Scott is running against 8th District Congressman Jim Marshall.
Boehner will also meet with Mike Keown and his supporters in Albany Wednesday morning. The Keown campaign told us that is a private event only for the top donors to Keown's effort to unseat 2nd District Representative Sanford Bishop.
