PELHAM, GA (WALB) – Pelham authorities are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Monday night.

Investigators say a man walked into Aden's Mini Mart on U.S. Highway 19 around 6 o'clock.

He got money from the clerk and then ran away.

The Mitchell County Sheriff's Office joined Pelham Police in a manhunt and chased a suspect on foot at one point, but he got away.

If you know anything about the robbery, call Pelham Police at (229) 294-6000.
