ALBANY,  GA (WALB) – A man wanted in a hit-and-run we first told you about at six Saturday night is now in the Dougherty county jail.

Albany Police say 33-year-old Alonzo Jones ran over 33-year-old David Wood with a pick up truck Saturday morning in the North Westover Waffle House parking lot. Wood is now out of the hospital and Jones is in jail charged with aggravated assault.

We first showed you Jones picture on WALB News 10 at 6 Saturday night. He turned himself in to police only four hours later.
