VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Lowndes High doesn't have long to celebrate last week's win over rival Valdosta.
The Vikings face another big region battle when they host Colquitt County Friday night.
The Packers are riding a four game winning streak after starting the season oh and three.
This game will not decide the region title but the winner will definitely be the front runner.
The game features Lowndes tough defense against a Colquitt County spread offense that broke the 60 point mark last week.
One thing both coaches have in common is respect for their opponent this week.
Colquitt County head coach Rush Propst said. "When I look at them on tape right now I don't see any difference. Everybody says they are going to drop off here or they are going to drop off there. They are never going to drop off. Lowndes County will never drop off."
Lowndes head coach Randy McPherson said. "They seem to do everything well. Run, throw and they have a great offensive line. The coach does an outstanding job. We are going to have to play solid defense."
