     Firefighters are investigating another fire at an Albany duplex on that was hit earlier this week with a molotov cocktail.
    Fire crews were called to the duplex in the 600 block of West Gordon Avenue around 6 Wednesday morning.

Americus, GA (WALB) – Over 100 small to medium sized dogs found in deplorable conditions, with feces mattered into their fur and without water, in Sumter County today.

The dogs were seized by agents of the Department of Agriculture, the Sumter Co. Sheriff, and the Department of Natural Resources.

The dogs were seized on the property of Margie Davis, a former Americus Police officer. Davis owns the Jungle Pet store in Americus.

Officers are Executing search warrant.  Davis is not charged at this time, but could face animal cruelty charges.
