Division II teams can hold their first official practice on Friday.

Down at Valdosta, VSU Lady Blazers head coach Kiley Hill is ready to get the season started.

The Lady Blazers have seven players back from last year's team that won 21 games.

Coach Hill is glad to have an experienced lineup because the Lady Blazers will be tested early.

Kiley Hill said. "We have been able to teach in our preseason. Our older kids have been teaching our newer kids. Hopefully, it is going to be great transition and a quick transition. We will actually scrimmage Eckerd College on the 24th of October. So, it is going to be here in a hurry."

VSU women open the regular season November 13th at home against Edward Waters.
