ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Registration is underway and thousand are preparing to descend on Moultrie for North America's Premier Farm Show, the Sunbelt Ag Expo.

Tuesday vendors were beginning to set up and final preparations were being made to the grounds in anticipation of next week's show. The three day show starts a week from today bringing in over 1,200 commercial exhibitors. This year the expo has more exhibitors coming from overseas.

"We have quite an international focus and we're seeing a lot of groups come in a lot of different companies are expanding. I guess it's a result of a global market so we're seeing more companies come in from overseas and exhibit with us," said Gina McDonald, Sunbelt Ag Expo Marketing Director.

This year the expo's spotlight will be on Growing Georgia at the Speed of Business, a one stop shop for anyone looking to expand ag and related businesses in the southeast. This years expo will feature a new dairy barn, expanded hunting and fishing exhibition space, new equipment, energy crops, and a big secret announcement from Monsanto.  Sunbelt Ag Expo Starts October 19th and runs through the 21st.  Admission is $10.00 per day per person, $20 for a three day pass. The gates open daily at 8:30 AM.
