Agents say that police responded to the apartment because of a burglar alarm. Officers found the back door broken open and went inside. That's where they detected a strong odor of marijuana, and saw pot in plain view.More >>
ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The jury is considering the evidence in the trial of the three other people charged with murdering 24-year-old Dominic Lamar King.
19 year old Derrick Bell already pleaded guilty to his part in the murder and was sentenced to life in prison. Prosecutors say he fired the shot that killed King in his Meadow Drive home in January.
19-year old Lakeisha White, 22-year old Tavaress Jackson, and 19-year old Kendrick Sanders are on trial.
Prosecutors say White was the mastermind of the murder, killing King for revenge in a lover's triangle .
They were arrested several hours after King was gunned down in front of his home in the 1900 block of Meadows Drive.
Prosecutors say White set up the murder, because King was dating another girl.
