ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A Cordele man who is the owner of an entertainment company is coming back to town to give back to Crisp Area Habitat for Humanity, but he needs your help.

Demetrius Barrett owns Black Brick Entertainment in Texas, he is from Cordele and is back in south Georgia to organize a concert at the Albany Civic Center.

On November 20th he's producing the Albany R&B Classic.

Performers Case, H-Town, Troop, Ronnie Jordan, and Montel Jordan will perform. He wants to help Habitat because he has seen their good works.

"I had a relative who had a Habitat house and it absolutely changed their lives when they got that house and I figure there was nothing better I could do than to donate to Habitat," said Demetrius "Buck" Barrett, Owner of Black Brick Entertainment.

"A lot of people think that Habitat for Humanity is so well known that funding is handed down, but we are local affiliates. With folks like Buck wanting to give back giving back that's good, we can't do it without them," said Sherry Evans, Executive Dir. Crisp Area Habitat.

You can buy tickets through Ticketmaster or at the Civic Center.

They'll give away Thanksgiving dinners at the event, a portion of the profits will go to the Foodbank of Southwest Georgia.
