LOWNDES COUNTY, GA (WALB) –A Lowndes County man is charged with damaging vending machines at a high school and stealing money out of them.

Police say 29-year old Richard Duff was caught on surveillance video October 2nd at Lowndes High School.

They say he tore up the change dispensers on some of the vending machines and took off with cash.

Duff turned himself in Thursday.

He's charged with several counts of criminal damage to property, criminal trespassing, and theft by taking.
