SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) - Worth County softball team beat Crisp County 9-1 to win a second 1-AAA region title in the last three years.
Haley Ellis and Lauren Potts both hit two run homeruns in the second inning for the Lady Rams.
Worth County will host Cross Creek in the first round of the GHSA AAA softball playoffs Tuesday in Sylvester.
At the 1-AAAA tournament in Cordele, Lee County lost 3-1 to Houston County.
Lady Trojans finish third in the region and are on the road in round one of the GHSA AAAA state tournament
