The two teams battle once again for bragging rights and possibly a region title tomorrow night at Cleveland Field.

The Vikings are 4-1 and ranked higher in the AAAAA polls than the unbeaten Wildcats.

First year Valdosta coach Rance Gillespie is getting his first taste of this great rivalry and like Lowndes' Randy McPherson working hard to keep his players focused on playing football Friday night.

Rance Gillespie said. "We have got a community that is fortunate enough to have two really good quality football teams in it. Two quality football programs. It is a big game for our community."

Randy McPherson said. "Constantly remind them the most fundamental team the team that does the blocking, the tackling and the execution the way they are supposed to, that is the team that is going to win."

Kick off is 8:00 p.m. Friday at Cleveland Field in Valdosta.
