LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - The National League Division Playoff series between the Atlanta Braves and the San Francisco Giants features two of the top rookies in baseball.The race for the National League rookie of the year award is expected to come down to Jason Heyward and former FSU star Buster Posey
However it is not the first championship series for Leesburg's Buster Posey and Braves outfielder Jason Heyward.
osey said. "I remember him being really big already as a sophomore. So, he was probably only 15 at the time and I was a senior. He stood out then. He has been good for a while."
Lee County head baseball coach Rob Williams said. "Like I said who would think five years later they would both be in the playoffs. it was just a surreal experience. something everybody in Lee County should be proud of. "
Games one and two are in San Francisco Thursday and Friday night.
Game three is Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at Turner Field in Atlanta.
