In high school football, the Albany Indians showed they are going to be playoff contender in region one double a after their 37 nothing win at Berrien Friday. The Indians are the WALB Team of the Week for their shutout performance. Their 37 points was the most the Indians had put on the score board since 2004.
Head coach Felton Williams credits a new approach to game week for his team's accomplishments.
Coach Williams said "Going into last week's game we really took Monday off and just did some self evaluations of us and sat down and devoted Monday to truly just film time. Lately we've been making mental mistakes. Just offensive miscues and really just took Monday to really just as a practice slash film day and it really paid off."
Albany high hosts 6th ranked Thomasville Thursday night at seven.
