Albany GM Will Carter has announced the resigning of head coach Luscious Davis. Davis lead the Panthers to an 8-4 record last season and their first ever division title in their first season.
Carter expressed the need for bringing back most if not all of the pieces from last year's winning team and says that Davis was the center piece behind making another run at the playoffs.
Carter also says that Davis's relationship with his players were second to none.
Carter said""They believe in him they know he has a lot of Arena Football experience. He's been doing it for 8 plus years. Of course last year was his first year as a head coach. So then, these guys are familiar with his ways and terminology and they believe in him. I think that helps when you're trying to put together a solid team."
