BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) - Decatur County investigators search for a man they call a serial arsonists. He has targeted a total of 10 structures in the past seven months. Eight vacant homes and two sheds.

The latest occurred 9:30 Friday night when a fire destroyed one side of a home at 109 Black Jack Church Road off Highway 84 in Bainbridge.

Investigators have released a sketch of a person of interest. They believe he's a white man, between 5'10'' and six feet tall with brown hair.

He could be driving an older model dark blue Chevrolet.

"It's just a matter of time before they're caught," said Decatur County Sheriff's Investigator, Gale Bowyer. "We will not rest and we will not stop this investigation until we catch the people or person responsible for this."

A $10,000 reward will be offered to anyone who can provide tips that will lead to the arrest of the arsonist.
