The Valdosta State defense stopped a two-point attempt with 1:10 remaining in the game to edge out Ouachita Baptist 21-19 in a Gulf South Conference win at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Ouachita Baptist blocked a Blazer field goal with just 6:16 remaining in the contest. They were able to go over 80 yards and scored on a one yard run with just over a minute left in the game, but the Blazers kept the Tigers out of the end zone on the two-point attempt to preserve the win. Blazers improve to 4-1.
