ALBANY, GA (WALB) – If you were looking for something to do Saturday evening, there were lots of activities in downtown Albany.

The International Festival kicked off at 4PM, it continued to 10PM, It was free to attend.

There was music, an antique car show, food and live performances.

This year festival organizers hope to attract more than five thousand people.

"It gives the opportunity for area residents to expose themselves to international cultures through dance, dress, food, music, and arts and crafts," Teresa Smith, Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau.

This is the third year of the event, thanks to sponsors, the Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau and Downtown Merchants.
