ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Thousands of items were on display for artifact lovers in Albany Saturday.

From eight to three the Albany Indian Artifacts Show attracted more than fifty vendors at the Hasan Temple.

Everything from clay pots, to hundreds of arrow heads was on display and up for sell.

Organizers say more than three hundred people from as far as Florida and Alabama showed up.

"It gives collector a chance to come out and show their artifacts, and give the public a chance to see some things they normally wouldn't see. We're also doing this to keep the hobby of collecting of artifacts going and educate the public," said David Griffin, Show Host.

The show is put on by the tri-state archeological society, they've been doing this for about twenty years.
