ALBANY, GA (WALB) – People took a trip back in time Friday to build a better future for students.

Darton College hosted its 2nd annual Taste of the Arts fundraiser.

The theme was the Roaring 20s. Students sang, danced, acted, and displayed their art work.

"It gives our community members a chance to see how talented our students are and to see where the money is going," said Alycia Ehlert, Interim Dean of Humanities.

The money raised will be used for scholarships for Darton Humanities students.

WALB News Ten's Dawn Hobby was the MC for Friday's event.
