ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A group is calling for Christians in South Georgia to gather in prayer against abortion.     Debby Sapp operates Blessed Babies & Families.

On Sunday, she's holding a Life Chain on Ledo Road.   She wants people to stand along the road, holding signs that carry strong anti-abortion messages.  They'll also pray for an end abortion in this country.

Debby Sapp said, "We're going to pray and beseech God, would he please stop the scourge of abortion in our nation?  We feel like we're walking knee deep in the blood of aborted babies and we feel like God Almighty is our strongest hope."

The Life Chain will be held Sunday from 2:15 to 3:30 PM on the Lee County side of Ledo Road just in front of Grand Island Country club.
