Johnson's play in the NBA's developmental league had several teams wanting him. The Rockets signed him in April and Johnson has been waiting patiently to show the league is back after shoulder surgery. He faces a tough battle to make the Rockets roster.
Alexander Johnson said. "They just signed Brad Miller and they have got a couple of other guys. They signed (Andrew) Scola back and they have got Chucky Hayes. I am not worried about anybody but me. I just got to do what I know how to do and the rest is history." The Rockets open their preseason schedule on Tuesday.
