ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Westover High lineman Chris Green is the winner of this week's Albany Area Player of the Week award.
Chris Green said. "It was the biggest game of our season. It was our statement game. We had heard a lot of criticism the whole season. This game we decided to just come and jump out. Fight our best and fight to the last zero, zero, zero."
Westover is on the road Friday night at Worth County.
Game time is 7:30 p.m. in Sylvester.

Dr. James Mason presented Chris with his plaque at Orthopaedic Associates on Wednesday.
Green plays offense and defensive line for the Patriots.
Last week he had nine tackles, one quarterback sack, forced a fumble and recorded a fumble in leading the Westover defense to a shutout victory over rival Dougherty.
